Denis Ochi opened Ochi Gallery in 1974. Since then the gallery has assumed several locations in Boise and Sun Valley, Idaho. In its current spaces located in the light industrial area of Ketchum since the mid 1990's, and in the Colonnade Building downtown since February 2010, Ochi Gallery has represented the work of both contemporary masters and emerging artists.
The eldest of five boys, Denis Ochi wanted to follow in his father, Fred’s footsteps and become an artist. But eventually realized that his true talent lay in promoting the work of others. Since then, Denis has worked with some of the great artists of our time, forming lasting relationships with those he sees as talented, honest and committed to their vision.
